I’m a Las Vegas local, and in this article, I round up the city’s absolute best festivals! 

Sin City is the entertainment capital of the world, and attending a festival is one of the best things to do in Las Vegas. This guide covers a wide selection of foodie events, music festivals, cultural celebrations, and more. You’re sure to find an activity that fits your interests! 

Las Vegas Festivals in March 

Brew’s Best

Enjoy an afternoon of fun activities and drinking good beer for a worthy cause.

Brew’s Best is a beer festival by New Vista, which is a non-profit organization that supports youth and adults with disabilities. This festival has places to watch basketball, play games, and eat food, all while sipping beers from many of the best Las Vegas breweries.

The Great Vegas Festival of Beer

Enjoy delicious beer samples and a variety of fun experiences in downtown Las Vegas.

The Great Vegas Festival of Beer is a full-day event. Tourists and locals come to enjoy a wide selection of craft breweries and delicious food. It also has a karaoke section and a silent disco area to add to the fun. 

Las Vegas Water Lantern Festival

The Las Vegas Water Lantern Festival is a family-friendly festival. Visitors are given time to decorate the lanterns, and then together, everyone launches their lanterns across the water. The festival also features food trucks, music, and other fun activities to participate in. 

Tickets are available on its website, and the sooner you purchase them, the cheaper they are.

Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender

Spend the weekend jamming out, competing in events, and attending super fun pool parties at The Orleans Hotel.

The Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender is a festival for all rockabillies and rock ‘n roll lovers. At this festival, you’ll find a variety of rock concerts and DJs performing on six different music stages. 

Sick New World

Rock out with some of the most well-known rock bands in downtown Las Vegas.

Sick New World is a music festival for all rock music lovers. Previous headliners for this festival include System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, Incubus, and many more. The festival takes place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds and provides 12 hours of great music.

Holo Holo Music Festival

Transport yourself to an island getaway full of reggae music and amazing island-style food.

The Holo Holo Festival is a reggae music festival with heavy Hawaiian influences. The festival features many reggae artists and island-style food. Attending feels a bit like taking a Hawaiian beach vacation! 

San Gennaro Feast

Celebrate Italian heritage at this exciting bi-annual festival.

The San Gennaro Feast is an Italian food and music festival that is held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the autumn. A petting zoo, amusement rides, live international acts, and an incredible food selection make for a super fun time for the whole family.

Las Vegas City of Lights Jazz Festival

Bring a picnic and enjoy the music at this intimate Las Vegas music festival.

This jazz and R&B festival takes place outdoors and makes for a lovely date or family night out. You can bring your own picnic basket or check out the great selection of food vendors. Bring your own blankets and chairs to comfortably relax, and enjoy the music at this two-day event.

Great American Foodie Fest

Bring your appetite for a weekend of tasting the best food trucks from across America.

The Great American Foodie Fest brings over 50 food trucks from around the country together in Las Vegas. You’ll get to explore different rides and enjoy live performances, all while trying some of the United States’ best food trucks. 

Electric Daisy Carnival

Spend the weekend dancing to your favorite EDM artists at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Electric Daisy Carnival draws thousands of EDM fans each year to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is one of the biggest Las Vegas music festivals and it lasts from dusk to dawn each day. 

There is an extensive list of exciting performers, along with food and beverage stands. There are even places to camp for the weekend so you don’t miss any of the action. 

Punk Rock Bowling

If you like punk rock music and you like bowling, this is the festival for you.

Punk Rock Bowling is a weekend festival featuring punk rock shows and a massive bowling tournament! Performances occur at different venues during the day and night, so check its website for the itinerary. The festival also has fun pool parties and a chance to win money in the bowling tournament.

Exodus Festival

Celebrate the beginning of summer at this fun, weekend-long pool party.

The Exodus Festival happens three times a year, with Memorial Day weekend being one of the most popular because it kicks off summer.

A ticket provides access to all of the festival’s different venues, which include several of the best clubs in Vegas. There are over 10 parties to attend, with some of the most popular DJs performing each day.

Juneteenth Festival

Celebrate Juneteenth and local Black-owned businesses as a community.

The annual Juneteenth Festival features music, dance, culture, and food to celebrate Juneteenth. Each year, thousands of people attend this free festival. 

Sponsors allow dozens of scholarships to be given out annually. These scholarships to higher education support the underserved youth in the city’s Historic Westside region.

Elvis: Summer Tribute Festival

If you love Elvis, this is one of the best music festivals for you.

Oktoberfest

Celebrate this traditional German festival without leaving Las Vegas.

Oktoberfest is a beer festival iconic to Germany, but Las Vegas has its own version of the celebration. Hofbrauhaus is a local German brewery, and each October, it hosts weekly events to celebrate Oktoberfest. It has celebrity keg tappers, live entertainment, and its own Oktoberfest beer. 

iHeartRadio Music Festival

Spend the weekend listening to your favorite artists on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Las Vegas Greek Food Festival is annually held at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, and everyone is welcome.

Greek food is the main attraction of this festival, but it has plenty of other activities. Rides for kids, music to dance to, and a relay race to help raise money for charity are a few extra reasons to put it on your calendar.

Las Vegas Food and Wine Festival

Calling all foodies to one of the best food festivals in Las Vegas.

Rise Lantern Festival

Reconnect with yourself and others at one of the year’s most mesmerizing events.

Rise Lantern Festival takes place in the Las Vegas desert. It’s all about mindfulness, meditation, and learning how to be in tune with yourself.

Reggae Rise Up Festival

Attend this Las Vegas reggae festival for good music and great vibes.

Everyone is welcome at this festival which celebrates Las Vegas’ LGBTQ+ community.
