16 Best Hotels in Oceanside, CA
Seabird Resort, Destination by Hyatt
A pet-friendly hotel with a cheerful yellow atmosphere, unobstructed views, and a luxurious spa.
Booking.com👇 View Prices, Reviews, and Availability
My recent birthday staycation at the Seabird Resort in downtown Oceanside was everything I wanted it to be. The hotel has an oceanview spa, daily yoga classes within an art gallery, and 3 deliciously diverse restaurants I can vouch for.
Luxury travelers will enjoy the outdoor pool and hot tub that overlooks an unforgettable view of Oceanside’s Pier and sandy shores. The Seabird Resort exudes a warm and consistent vibe. Plus, the hotel has some of the most comfortable and delightful robes and slippers.

👉 Pro Tip: You can pool hop and use their sister property’s (Mission Pacific) rooftop pool next door.
Mission Pacific Hotel, JdV by Hyatt
Trendy hotel with unbeatable views from the rooftop’s pool and restaurant.
Booking.com👇 View Prices, Reviews, and Availability
Mission Pacific Hotel, part of JdV by Hyatt, is the Seabird’s adjacent sister property. Both hotels are on the pricier side, but Mission Pacific feels posher. When booking a room, make sure to confirm its location because unfortunately, not all beach views are equal here.
Mission Pacific’s rooftop pool and jacuzzi, designer boutique, and dining set it apart. The on-site restaurant, Valle, elevated my tastebuds for a unique foodie experience. Grab your sunglasses – the rooftop is bright, but it’s an incredible place to watch a sunset.

History-rich and artistic small-boutique in a central location great for walking.
