The Fin Hotel is a 10-minute walk to the beach. What it lacks in oceanfront views, it makes up for with a great location right on the S Coast Hwy. The surrounding area is full of restaurants, coffee shops, and murals. 

The Fin Hotel is a great mid-range/budget-friendly hotel with comfortable rooms, though it’s pretty minimalistic in terms of amenities. The Fin has no gym, business center, or pool onsite. However, it’s location in a bustling neighborhood makes it perfect for exploring Oceanside without a car.

This particular Best Western Oceanside Inn is in a great location. Oceanside city center and Oceanside Strand Beach are both less than 10 minutes away. You are also a 15-minute drive to Legoland theme park. 

Besides the location, the hotel also has plenty of self-parking, and from the moment you arrive, the staff is very pleasant. Free wi-fi and continental breakfast make it even better. For hotels in the area, this one is fairly modern. I suggest trying to get a room that overlooks the pool.
