I will be attending a conference at the Convention Center and we won’t have a car. What can we do walking or using public transportation ? 3 days!!

oh, fun! You're less than a mile from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts if you wanted to catch a show one night. I'm not sure when you're headed here, but we have some really good shows coming up!

In the other direction, you're 0.7 of a mile from the Denver Art Museum or the History Colorado Center. The art museum has some really cool exhibitions right now featuring nature and natural materials. The History Colorado Center has lots of hands-on, interactive exhibits.

The 16th St. Mall shuttle is just a few blocks from the convention center and it's free so you can use that to get to some places as well. If you take the shuttle to Wazee, you can walk to The Cruise Room, which is a cool historic bar (Denver's longest-running bar - it opened the day after Prohibition was repealed). The Terminal Bar inside Union Station is also a nice place to sit and people-watch. Mercantile Dining & Provision is a good restaurant at Union Station as well.

I hope this helps! I'm happy to recommend more ideas if you have a particular area of interest.
