Hi there, can you recommend any breweries that offer gluten reduced beer? I’m not talking about cider as an option or hard seltzer, but actual beer that is gluten reduced. Thanks so much for your help!
Hi Maureen,
I live in Wheat Ridge, so several of my personal favorites are on the west side of town. But I especially recommend Mountain Toad Brewing in Golden; Spice Trade Brewery in Arvada and Greenwood Village; and Brewery Rickoli in Wheat Ridge. All of these places offer gluten-reduced beer.
I also really like Call to Arms Brewing Company on Tennyson Street in the Berkeley neighborhood. I read that it offers at least some gluten-reduced beers, but maybe call to double check. Call to Arms is especially fun during Oktoberfest (September 18 - October 13) and the holiday season with tons of immersive decor.
Additionally, you might want to check out Great Frontier Brewing Company in Lakewood and Holidaily Brewing Company in Golden and Greenwood Village. Both these breweries specialize in gluten-free beer.
I hope this helps. For a list of more of my go-to breweries, see this guide: https://travellemming.com/breweries-in-denver/ . Cheers! 🍻
Thanks, Abigail, this helps a lot!
I called Call to Arms as we will be there during Oktoberfest and ALL their beers are gluten reduced. So excited! Thank you, Denver, for leading the way in bringing beer back to those of us with gluten issues who dearly miss it. ❤️
