For 15+ years, Lia has been exploring Japan with all 47 prefectures visited. She loves relaxing in Japanese ryokan with outdoor onsen and discovering sushi omakase gems. She regularly returns to both Kyoto and Kanazawa, cities famed for their delicious food, art, and culture. Days are spent in her studio, Tokyo Kaleidoscope – reconstructing vintage Japanese kimonos into bespoke pieces or heading up into the mountains to renovate an old akiya.
