My Review

I spent 13 nights staying at the Hilton Lima Miraflores in December, 2025. Overall, my stay was fantastic and I would happily stay here again. It’s clean, comfortable, and centrally-located in Miraflores (see my full guide to where to stay in Lima for why I think this is the top area in Lima).

In some respects, it’s “just” a standard Hilton (albeit a good one in a good location).

The one standout feature is the rooftop. It’s got a medium sized pool and two jacuzzis, which were always more popular due to Lima’s sometimes brisk climate. And during the afternoon, there’s a small bar where you can order drinks to your lounger.

Also on the roof is the executive lounge, available to guests who book the executive rooms or are eligible HHonors elites. I got access by virtue of my Diamond status.

The lounge is worth the splurge, in my opinion. They do a decent breakfast buffet spread in the morning (though we typically ate in the downstairs table service restaurant, since breakfast was included in our room rate). Through the afternoon there’s a selection of fruit, finger food, and sodas. And then in the evening from 5:30 to 7:30, they put out a pretty well-sized “happy hour” spread. We ended up basically eating dinner there several nights.

Our rooms were also very comfortable and very clean. I booked a King Bed Deluxe room, which was reasonably sized. I would have preferred a couch for a longer stay for two people (all we had was a chair), but that’s just me being picky.

The bed was a real highlight. It was very comfortable (soft but still firm).

I also liked that there was a filtered water station in the hall and a glass carafe next to the espresso machine. That saved us from having to do runs to the convenience store for water.

The desk was also quite nice, but noticeably imperfect. The issue I encountered is that the desk faces directly at the window. It’s a nice thought in theory: I booked it thinking I could work while looking out over the view.

But, in practice, the light from the window was too intense and made it hard to focus on my screen. So I mostly worked with the curtains drawn, which kinda defeated the point (and also made the room feel dark even during the day). Still, it was ok for me because I mostly went up to the lounge to work anyway.

The biggest drawback of our room was the closet doors, which have one of the most head-scratching designs I’ve seen. You have to close BOTH doors at EXACTLY the same moment in order for them to stay shut. And if either door is open, it’ll block entrance to the room or to the bathroom. Clara and I often found ourselves awkwardly fumbling around in the narrow entranceway as we each tried to get ready before going out. Super annoying.

The hotel has a single restaurant on its ground floor, which is where we ate breakfast most mornings. The restaurant is beautifully designed and has a gorgeous bar. During our December stay, they also brought in a Santa actor on the weekend to delight the children.

The food was pretty solid. Service was sometimes inconsistent and slow, but not terrible.

We also ordered room service a couple nights and it came quickly and was reasonably priced.

A final amenity worth mentioning is the gym. It wasn’t huge, but it had the basics for cardio and weights. I worked out there many times and found it had everything I needed.

***

Despite a few minor complaints, my overall stay at the Hilton was fantastic and I would gladly stay here again. It’s a clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. If you’re looking for a reliable option for your stay in Lima, I think you can’t go wrong here.

Pros & Cons

✔️ Pros

  • Central location in a safe, clean, and convenient part of Miraflores
  • Really amazing rooftop pool and jacuzzis
  • Solid breakfast
  • Super clean and comfortable rooms
  • Less street noise compared to other Miraflores hotels

❌ Cons

  • Closet doors are SO annoying (challenging to close, block the entrance and bathroom doors)
  • Service at the breakfast restaurant was sometimes a little slow and inconsistent

About the Location

The Hilton Lima Miraflores has a really nice location in a quieter corner of Miraflores, my #1 area to stay in Lima. The immediate area is residential buildings, but just a block or two away, you’ll find tons of dining options, shops, and more.

There’s a pharmacy and a Tambo convenience store 2 blocks away, and a few restaurants immediately in front of the hotel. A 10-minute walk to the north is the center of Miraflores (Kennedy Park), while a 10-minute walk to the south will bring you to the Miraflores boardwalk and the Larcomar shopping center.

My Highlights of This Hotel

⭐ The executive lounge. Absolutely worth the splurge if you don’t get it via HHonors status. The lounge even has a nice terrace with views towards the sea.

⭐ The rooftop pools and jacuzzi were lovely.

⭐ The beds were so comfortable and cozy.

Things to Note

⚠️ The executive rooms are worth the splurge for the 11th floor lounge, which is solid and has an awesome terrace.

⚠️ In the lounge, you can ask for a special meal menu if you have dietary restrictions (took us a few days to realize this).
