Sunset Park is one of the biggest and most popular parks in Las Vegas. It hosts a variety of local events each year. In the summer, it has free jazz concerts every few weeks. The Tacos and Tamales event and Sunset Park’D are popular annual food festivals that take place at this park.
Walking trails, a dog park, a fitness course, and five different playgrounds are some of the activities to enjoy at this park. Fishing is another popular activity. There are also plenty of picnic tables to enjoy a nice meal amongst the lovely scenery.
Floyd Lamb Park

Floyd Lamb Park has a variety of exciting activities ranging from fishing to horse riding. The peacocks and other exotic wildlife roaming around are one of the main highlights of this park.
There are plenty of breathtaking walking and jogging trails with scenery that makes you feel as if you have completely left Las Vegas. Floyd Lamb Park used to be a ranch and has a lot of interesting history behind it, which you can read about along the walking trails.
Floyd Lamb Park is a great place for parties with a reservable picnic area and barbecue grills all around. There is a $6 entrance fee per vehicle, and there are yearly passes available for purchase if you plan on visiting regularly.

Craig Ranch Park
Everyone is sure to love Craig Ranch Park, from festival lovers to gardeners and athletes.
Craig Ranch Park is another popular park in Las Vegas. Many Las Vegas festivals take place here, including the Water Lantern Festival. There’s also the Great American Foodie Fest, which highlights several of the best Vegas restaurants.
Craig Ranch Park has tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts. The park also features a dog park where you can bring your furry friend for a fun day out. It also has a community garden where you can reserve a gardening plot and grow something beautiful for all to enjoy!

Lone Mountain Park is home to some of the most scenic hiking trails near Las Vegas. Lone Mountain is in the middle of Centennial, and it is one of my favorite parks in Las Vegas because the hikes are easy and are always so much fun.
Lone Mountain Park has plenty of other activities like a roller hockey rink, basketball courts, a playground, and tennis courts. The horse arena is another highlight of this park and is a perfect place to train horses or go horseback riding. There are some traditional picnic areas, but you can also take one of the hiking trails and find a place to enjoy a picnic with a view.

Clark County Wetlands Park
Clark County Wetlands Park is the biggest park in Clark County with over 2,900 acres of land.

Clark County Wetlands Park has so many things to do that you can spend the entire day there and still not see everything. The swampy area is one of the main attractions of this park. It features gorgeous wildlife that you likely won’t find anywhere else in Las Vegas.
Quail and many other different bird species, rabbits, beavers, and even turtles are some of the wildlife that you might see. There are also over six miles of nature trails to explore within the Nature Preserve. However, note that dogs and bikes are not permitted on the nature trails in order to preserve the park as much as possible.
Desert Breeze Park
Spend the day enjoying the water park or one of many sports, including skateboarding and roller hockey.

Desert Breeze Park is very popular among high school students because of the skate park and roller hockey rinks. There are plenty of picnic areas around the park which operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There are also four baseball fields and a soccer field that are open for reservation. Desert Breeze Park even has an outdoor water park during the summer. It features multiple water slides and a place to lounge that makes you feel like you are on the beach.
Gardens Park
A gorgeous Summerlin park with various sports, games, and grassy picnic areas.
Gardens Park lies in Summerlin, one of the best Las Vegas suburbs. It has plenty of activities for people of all ages and interests. This park is a great place to bring pets or go on walks or runs given its expansive stretch of grass and trees. There are also basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and roller hockey for fitness lovers.
Gardens Park is another wonderful place to picnic with plenty of picnic tables and fun family games nearby. The horseshoe pits and bocce ball are some of the popular games for families to play together near the picnic area. There is also a fun playground, great for those seeking things to do in Las Vegas with kids.
Fox Hill Park

Fox Hill Park has breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, making it a great place to have a picnic and watch the sunset. It makes for a perfect family outing with a super fun playground area that even has a zipline made for kids.
There is also a great disc golf course that allows the adults to have fun, too. In addition, Fox Hill Park is a very popular place for runners because of the trails and gorgeous views.
