4 Best Outlet Malls in Colorado in 2023 (By a Local)

Wondering where the best outlet malls in Colorado are? Well, there aren’t many anymore!

I’m not sure whether it’s because times are a-changing or if the pandemic caused closures (probably both), but the Colorado outlets are dwindling in number. One popular outlet, The Outlets at Loveland, appears to be the most recent casualty.

But don’t fear! The four Colorado outlet malls remaining feature dozens of brand stores and specialty shops, so even if you’re traveling some distance, the wide variety will make your trip worthwhile.

4 Best Colorado Outlet Malls

Denver Premium Outlets

One of the larger malls in Denver, Denver Premium Outlets in Thornton has a variety of designer factory stores. Shop trendy handbags and accessories at the Kate Spade New York outlet, get a great deal on shoes at the Cole Haan outlet, or grab outdoor gear at the Columbia Factory Store.

The outlets’ architects wanted the design to invoke the feel of Colorado outdoors and the Rocky Mountains. You can see the mountains themselves in the distance, and there’s a large outdoor playground which makes it easier to shop with children.

The whole family will also enjoy the mall’s many restaurants and seasonal events, like live reindeer and a Christmas tree lot in December.

When you arrive, head to the customer service desk at the food court to get an Elite Savings Passbook, which will give you extra deals at stores. You’ll find more than 100 brands at great discounts. These include a Banana Republic Factory Store, a J. Crew Factory Store, a Calvin Klein outlet, and a Le Creuset outlet.
