As a Colorado mom, I’ve visited plenty of these shopping centers to buy clothes for kids who constantly keep growing! I’ll help you figure out which of the malls in Denver will best suit your needs.
One unfortunate thing to note – because of the pandemic, and the economy as it is now, some stores that have been at these shopping malls are now closed. I’ve found that even the shopping mall websites can’t always keep up. If you’re headed to one of these shopping centers to visit a particular store, you may want to call and make sure they’re still open.

The Denver Pavilions is smack in the heart of downtown Denver, off the 16th Street Mall, so it’s a convenient place to shop if you live or are visiting downtown. It includes stores popular in many shopping malls like Banana Republic, H&M, and Sephora. You’ll also find Lime Cantina, a Corner Bakery, and other places to eat.

Cherry Creek Shopping Center

Cherry Creek Shopping Center has the stores you’ll find at many shopping malls, including Athleta, J.Crew, and LOFT. However, the Cherry Creek center also includes several designer stores like Hermès and Louis Vuitton.
The inside of the mall feels more like a retail resort than a traditional mall, and it includes several places to eat, from easy spots to grab a cocktail or great food to fine dining. Cherry Creek North is an outdoor mall with shops and places to eat across the street from the indoor mall.

16th Street Mall

The 16th Street Mall features shops and dining options that stretch up and down the street in downtown Denver. It’s a fun place to stroll, window shop, and pop into a cafe for a cup of coffee at one of the Denver coffee shops lining it.
You can also easily walk to Denver sights like the Capitol Building, the Clocktower, and Larimer Square. A free shuttle can get you back up the street if you’re tired after your walk to the other end.

Park Meadows Mall

The first thing that strikes you on entering Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree is how very Colorado the decor is. The light fixtures could be in a cabin, murals depict mountains and wildlife, and the entire mall feels like a mountain lodge (oh, and there’s a fountain, of course). Although it’s a convenient mall for residents south of Denver, it’s big enough that it attracts customers from all over the Denver metropolitan area.

This outdoor shopping mall also has chain stores like Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn. During summer, the mall hosts a farmers market in the parking lot, and other events as well.
